Toyoko Inn Shin-shirakawa Ekimae

Breakfast menu had a lot of variety and was very tasty. Rooms were a nice size - larger than some other hotels in Japan. Very short walk to train station - no problem even with luggage. Did not need to rent a car - the train provided transportation to everywhere we needed to go. Would definitely stay there again. Side note - when we were there, the front desk was selling a flat, collapsible umbrella that was very convenient to carry. I had not seen anything like it before. Most of the 8 members of our team bought one.
